The U14 St. Peters Selects went into the NAPHL league championship tournament as the #1 seed due to their 11-3-0 regular season record. And after going 3-0-1 in the tournament round robin, found themselves in the league Championship game. The St. Peters Selects won their first PHL Championship thanks to a 4-0 shutout win over the San Jose Jr. Sharks. The U14 Selects outshot the Sharks 30-12. Dalton Parrish gave the Selects a 1-0 lead early in the 1st period and Shane Quinn made it 2-0 at the intermission. The dagger may have come early in the 2nd period as Charlie Corbett scored shorthanded to make it 3-0 Selects. Joey Rosa finished off the scoring with a goal in the 3rd period. Brendan Ritchie also chipped in offensively with two assists. Goaltender Ellis Burgett, who recently was named as a 14U Pointstreak Peak Performers, stopped all 12 San Jose shots for the shutout.
